I am pretty sure about that as I lived in Kowloon Hospital between 1971 to 1981 when my father was a consultant thoracic surgeon there. Kowloon Hospital is my backyard growing up.
To the east of that and down the slope used to be the Argyle barracks. It turned into a Vietnamese boat people camp in the late 1970s. There were security problems all the time at night as some of the refugees came into hospital grounds where we lived. My father had to call the hospital security to get them off.
I have few family themed pictures taken near that building.
Trees are way bigger than I remember it. 40 yrs is a long time. The soccer field was where Hong Kong Archery Association was founded by my late father and few of his doctors friends. My uncle also has his amateur soccer team there for decades even after my father retired. The hill behind the soccer field used to have no trees on the slope, climbed up few times as a kid. The typhoon signal pole was up on the hill behind that building couple hundred metres.

Re: Kowloon Hospital?
Hi there,
I winder if those big houses are of the old Kowloon Hospital group of buildings. There is an old photo in Wiki showing this.
My 2 cents,

Re: Kowloon Hospital
Yes, I think T is correct. That would be the northernmost buildings of Kowloon Hospital.
The background is Kowloon Hospital
