From the map that you had provided previously, it would appear that the China Building built in 1924 would have been the likely site of the old Court House rather than the Queen's Theatre.
You're right. I've just added this 1901 map. It appears that the Land Office was wedged in between what became the Queen's Theatre and the Supreme Court.
Is anyone aware of a better photo showing Jimmy's Kitchen? I'm hoping to use one in my book The Farthest East about HK during the Japanese occupation. My father had his last good meal there just before being interned. Thanks. Robert Jones
Many thanks Klaus. Great photos. Had my fair share of excellent meals at Jimmy's (on both sides of the Harbour) and at Landau's over the years. In fact my company used to have "informal" board meetings at Jimmy's in Central. Any old excuse to go there! Best, Robert

I.L 2316 - Queen's Theatre, so you can add "General Post Office, 2nd location" to the "previous places"

Jimmy's Kitchen
With a bit of imagination, you can spot Jimmy's Kitchen at the left building (centre of the photo) with the chinese lettered semi-circle.
