I am fairly certain that this is Abdul. He ran the small shop in the basement of Gibson Block and sold all sorts of things to the airmen, including flip flops, Hawaiian beach shirts and photograph albums.
forgot to mention in my last post chinese quarters were on lower ground behind mt section,just along from tech block,we used to have problems on night shift with workers playing majong you could here the clacking a good distance away officially gambling was not allowed but I always turned a blind eye.
