LSW from Big Wave Bay path May 1957.

I have included this image to show the early stages in the infilling of the bay and also to illustrate the barren nature of the hills around the camp.  Where the large turning area is at the top of the camp road there is now a pavilion and a Rest Garden.  In 1957 there was just a cobra skeleton draped over a wire fence to act as a warning!  (Andrew S)
