I’m researching the Hong Kong history of the Apcar family, with particular interest in Arratoon Vertannes Apcar, Apcar & Co., and the family’s Hong Kong properties, including Ava House, Ava Mansions, Armend Buildings, and Observatory Villas.
I’m also interested in the wider Armenian merchant community in early twentieth-century Hong Kong, especially sourced references, photographs, maps, directories, property records, and local context that can help document this history carefully.
