2563, Cpl. William G. Poy.
Recommended for a decoration in recognition of his unfailing devotion to duty in the face of danger. After carrying out his task on the Mainland, he continued to show the same courage and resource on the Island. His readiness to go forward of our lines to contact elements of doubtful position set an example to the rest of the D/Rs. His courage and dependability has been highly praised by all officers under whom he served, including Lt.Col Field, R.A.

3159, Sgt. Neville John Booker.
Recommended for a mention in despatches, in recognition of his devotion to duty and his lack of fear in the face of danger which set an example to the rest of the men. He volunteered and carried out the highly important task of taking supplies out to the Armoured Cars, for W/T equipment, when they were withdrawing on the Mainland, and only withdrew to the Island on my instructions. His assistance to me in manning “ROSE” Fortress Observation Post, while being shelled, was invaluable and I was able to depend on the accuracy of his reports.
I'm looking for photos / sketches / portraits of him for the CPS project's history book. He was a magistrate.
