Joseph Hilton Shaw was a Stores Superintendent at China Light & Power Co., Ltd.

He was married to Dorothy Margaret Roe. 

During the Battle of Hong Kong, he joined the HKVDC on 11 December 1941. Private Shaw was later interned at Argyle Street and Sham Shui Po Camps. His wife was interned at Stanley Camp.

Felix Maurice ELLIS [1895-1949]

Felix Maurice Ellis was a stockbroker.

He enlisted in the HKVDC in July 1940 and was a Lance Corporal (4550). After the fall of Hong Kong, he was interned at Sham Shui Po Camp. His other family members were interned at Stanley Camp.

His name is listed incorrectly in Hong Kong War Diary under HKVDC as "Felix Morris Ellis". He died in 1949 and is buried in the Jewish Cemetery at Happy Valley.
