Hello, I am trying to recreate the flag of the 48th Gurkha Infantry Brigade, but first thing is that did the brigade even have a flag and if so what did it look like, if not which flag did the Gurkhas of Hong Kong use, I have asked a few veterans and got varying answers so I am hoping a more knowledgeable person on the topic could help🙏
Used by the Japanese as a temporary POW Camp for RAF personnel between the surrender and 1st January 1942 when the prisoners were transferred to Sham Shui Po. The prison was demolished and replaced by the Murray building in the early 1960's

Seeing the recent photograph of the gunners in Hong Kong 1911 prompts me to post a similar picture taken in 1917 of the Army Ordnance Department. I have no idea where the photo was taken nor any further details.
The chap in shorts is my great grandfather who, on retiring from the army, returned to Hong Kong and served as secretary of the Hong Kong Club from 1923 for about 10 years.
Seems to have been used post WWII, especially during Korean War. Location from a mapsite; certainly was around Castle Peak area
