Who was the MTR opened by? MTR website just says Murray Maclehose, but I do seem to remember pictures of I think HM the late Queen riding in the cab..?

I have noticed that a few old historical buildings are still visible on Stone Cutter Island. And there are buses to Stone Cutter Island. Are those buildings accessible? And which bus number would be the best to go there ? Thank you for your advice.
