Henry Tudor DAVIES [c.1816-1863]

I'm looking for photos / sketches / portraits of him for the CPS project's history book. A Barrister, he succeeded Hillier as Chief Magistrate, serving from 1856-1859 [1]. He resigned and went to Shanghai where he joined the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs as Commissioner [1].

He died in Shanghai in 1863, and was buried in Shantung Road Cemetery there [2]. His grave shows that he was a freemason.

There aren't any results in the photo search at HKPRO or the UKNA, and he didn't serve with Legco.

Details of birth & death from the Dictionary of Hong Kong Biography.

I'm looking for photos of him for the CPS project's history book. His connection is his role as Hong Kong's second Chief Magistrate, succeeding William Caine.

The HKPRO has a photo of him, but I'd be interested to hear of any more that exist.

I’ve found one descendant of C B Hillier who is researching his life:

Dates of birth & death given by Christopher Munn in the Dictionary of Hong Kong Biography.

He was Hong Kong's first Chief Magistrate. He founded Hong Kong's Police force, and had several other important roles in Hong Kong's government between 1841 and his retirement (and departure from Hong Kong) in 1859.

I'm looking for an image of him to include in the JCCPS project. Has anyone seen one? Photos may not be available, so sketches / engravings / cartoons / paintings are also welcome.
