Herbert Wells RANDALL (aka Harry) [1901-1974]
Herbert Wells Randall was one of the four children of Benjamin Cutler Randall, Senior, an American sea captain. Another was Benjamin Cutler Randall (Jr.).
In the period before WW11 he worked for Lane, Crawford, acting as a staff/shareholder representative.
After the surrender, he was held for a time at the company headquarters, the Exchange Building, but presumably released as a Eurasian.
He retired to England, perhaps in 1953, living in London or the south-east.
His wife was Eileen Audrey Randall (Hing).

John Oram Sheppard was a Warrant Officer in the Hong Kong Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.
He died of dysentery in February 1942 - the second death in Stanley.
