Referring to the June 2009 street view map, the markings on both sides of the 1-meter milestone on Lam Kam Road were still clearly visible, and since then, they have been occasionally tied to road signs

15c/22 Milestone at Castle Peak Road, Tai Lam Section [????- ]
Mini milestone just beside a manhole. What does the letter c mean here ... circa? It's so small that it doesn't seem to be meant for the drivers, is it for some kind of construction purpose?

A small extract
I was going through some of my map books of Hong Kong when I found some small passages (not much info) inside. Extract sentences below.
At that time the British Hong Kong Government didn't apply the metric system (Year 1977) yet and the MSs' were sprung up all over Castle Peak Road. It was anoymous who and when those were taken away.
