Iron works factory producing manhole covers

There is an interesting story about manhole covers (also called inspection covers) of Hong Kong, published at the free Chinese tabloid AM730 on last Wednesday, 27 October 2021. I’m amazed to know that they are still MADE IN HONG KONG.

Walked by this one yesterday (29th Dec 2020). It is just outside an enderly home and the previosu site of the former soy sauce plant, which is being developed into residents. The gateway is already gone with standard buildings already erected.

Went past this inspection cover earlier today and it is made of stone. Don't know why I did not see it in the past few decades. The marker is approximate. Street View has a label of 10 Bowen Road. It is between Borrett Road and Bowen Drive anyway.
