Former Amusement Park in Yuen Long. Created by a Mr Chan Tai in 1965.

Rumoured to be demolished to make way for the Fairview Park estate, but the site is actually now the Trappist Dairy warehouse in the adjacent industrial park.

The entrance, at 28.5 miles Castle Peak Road, had a small arch and the original driveway was located where Fairview Park Boulevard is.

Found this photo link about the Happy Valley Playground (愉園遊樂場).  Not quite fitting the modern day amusement park per se, but still it was an entertainment establishment of the time.

They may had the first roller-coaster system installed in Hong Kong there.  Not those fancy lateral-spiral ones like the one in the Ocean Park.  Just the old school simple one.

The HK memory website says it was opened in June 1979.

It was closed in 1997, and later the Wah Lai Estate was built on this site.

Got this also from page 210 of Mapping Hong Kong, at the Junction of Taxeco Road and Castle Peak Road.  This Amusement Park was once the sister installment of the Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park.

Does anyone growing up in Hong Kong in the 50's and 60's remember the PG Farm? It was where the lowland part of Ocean Park is now. It had a pond (I think it is the same one that is there now), a strange collection of animals - geese, monkeys, some birds, pony rides, rabbits etc. Some nice gardens etc. Just a wonderful place for young kids.
