I've got my "Gwulo mum" hat on! Please can you spare 10 minutes to help tidy up?
The list below (subscribers, please click here to see it) shows all the Places that are missing a "Date completed".
How to help
Pick any page from the list below, and look at the Places listed. If you know the completion date for any of those Places (or can make a reasonable guess), please click the link to the Place, then leave a comment there with the details. Please include how you know the date, and your reasons if you're making a guess.
Then I'll work through your comments, adding the completion dates back in to the Places. As soon as I add the date, the Place will disappear from the list.
What this is for
I'm finishing off an animated map, that shows the development of Hong Kong. It steps through the years 1840-2011, and Places appear and disappear automatically ... but only if their Completion and Demolition dates have been filled in.
Educated guesses welcome
eg "I guess 1880, as it's not shown in this 1876 photo, but it's already visible in this photo from 1888". Or "I guess 1955, as the previous building on this site was demolished in 1953."

PS. Currently the last page is #100. So with ten lines per page that's 1,000 Places. Thanks for any you can help knock off this list.

Thanks for your help. The last page now stands at #95, so that's 50 Places knocked off the list already!
T, if you're commenting on one of the Places you created, please go ahead and update the date to match your comments. You have good judgement, and we can always change the date later if new information surfaces.
