Go back in time and explore the first ten years (1970-1979) of SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School. You can meet the students and staff and find out what school life in Hong Kong was like during the 70s.

The video was created by Stephen Richards http://longzijun.wordpress.com for the school's 40th anniversary celebrations.

The images in the video were scanned from old photographs found in the school archives. Most of the photographs were not accompanied with any sort of documentation, so if you are in one of the photos, you can help us out by adding information in the comments page. We will use the information to create a webpage describing the different shots in the video.

The music soundtrack includes songs recorded by Sam Hui (許冠傑),Paula Tsui (徐小鳳), The Wynners (溫拿), Frances Yip (葉麗儀), Roman Tam (羅文) and Leslie Cheung (張國榮). As only relatively brief excerpts of the songs are used and the purpose of the soundtrack is to introduce today's students to the culture of the seventies in Hong Kong, we believe the use of the songs falls within the provisions of Fair Use. The songs used are listed and described here: http://longzijun.wordpress.com/works/school-memories-hong-kong-in-the-seventies/soundtrack-to-school-memories-hong-kong-in-the-seventies/
