The NEW RATION SCALE went into effect today. Very drastic cut in oil; no more BEANS; but in lieu we are to receive a meat ration once a week. Received meat for the week yesterday; approx 7 oz per man per week.
40 men went on a special working party yesterday for an unknown period.
