At Kia Tack on working party. A very exciting day. The air raid alarm went at 3.30pm and at 4pm our bombers came over with fighters total of 16 - I had a beautiful seat right on the water front- the Kowloon docks received a full packet and then two planes came down low over Taikoo and laid there eggs. A craft I think it was a freighter received a card and about 15 minutes later blew up when the flames reached the boilers!
At 5pm 9 bombers flew over at not more than 2000 ft - right over the harbour the alarm then went and after 5 minutes the all clear - we weren't able to determine if they were ours; but the Japanese opened fire on them.
Concert "The Blue Rose" was on tonight hope to go tomorrow.
