I went eventually on the working party, but we had a surprise. Instead of Kai Tak by lorry we went by launch to Aberdeen, then by lorry to Shou Shan Hill district where we moved "petrol" from one godown into another.
Saw home at Mt Davies & also Shouson Hill, I left feeling homesick.
The work was easy and we were treated very well.
