George Wetton may be found on the list of attendees at the opening of the Cheung Chau Assembly Hall in 1924.

The Jurors' Lists of 1925-27 give us George Wetton, manager H Skott and Co, living at 'Tesla', Cheung Chau.

The Jurors' Lists for 1929-30 give him living at 3 Cheung Chau, which may be the same house.

H. Skott & Co (with image) was a prominent Danish trading and import/export firm established in Hong Kong in the 1890s by businessman Hans Skott. By 1930, the company operated as a major commission agent and broker, specializing in importing US Pacific Northwest flour (Butterfly Brand) and acting as an intermediary for trade between the US and China.
