Valleria Dora Greene Rankin was a Southern Baptist missionary whose life reflected the multigenerational Greene–Rankin commitment to Christian work in South China.

She was born in China in 1892, the daughter of missionaries George Washington Greene and Valleria Anne Page Greene. She spent her early years in the Canton mission community and later immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1908.

On 7 March 1922, she married Milledge Theron Rankin, a fellow missionary then serving in Canton. The couple had two daughters, Page (1923) and Mary Lee (1929).

During their years in China, Valleria Rankin participated actively in mission life, family responsibilities, and the wider expatriate and Chinese Christian communities.

Her husband held several leadership roles within the Southern Baptist mission, including service at Graves Theological Seminary in Canton and later administrative work for the Foreign Mission Board, but Valleria’s own life remained closely tied to the rhythms of mission service, travel, and cross‑cultural family life.

She was recorded as living both in China and in Richmond, Virginia, in 1961

She died in Richmond, USA in 1961, aged 69.
