The FEPOW website shows he survived the war, and was transported back to Hong Kong. The last part of his journey home was on HMS Colossus, leaving Manila on 5 Oct 1945. That site also gives his date of birth as 24 Feb 1921, and birthplace as Hong Kong.

He was likely the son of William Robert Wilkinson
