Hennessy Hotel was located at 480 Hennessy Road at the junction with Percival Street. According to information provided here, the hotel commenced operation in 1951. It was likely demolished in 1965.
In 1953, the hotel manager and some members of staff were convicted of having permitted the premises to be used as a brothel.
