Daisy Elizabeth Minnie Stainton (née Wilson) was a nursing sister at Queen Mary Hospital. She joined the civil service in 1937.

She married Thomas Fletcher Stainton at St. John's Cathedral on 23 July 1940. 

After the fall of Hong Kong, she was interned at Stanley Camp.
