Charles Dixon Cousins (1875-1959) was born in Smethwick in the West Midlands into a prolific LMS* missionary family and served in Hong Kong from 1898.

He married Edith Brash in the British consulate in Canton, in 1906.  They had one son, John, but Edith died in 1907.

In 1909, he married Edith Mary Sabin, again in the British consulate.  They had a son, Frank.

Rev C D Cousin is mentioned in the 1924 Board of Management of the Assembly Hall, Cheung Chau.  I'm hoping this may be our man despite the spelling difference but this is all I have been able to find. Further information required payment.

Comments

Very likely a typo. Rev. C. D. Cousins was the L. M. S. member on the Board of Management. He was based at Canton with the L. M. S.. After completion of the Assembly Hall, Cousins' name often appears in Hong Kong and in participation of Assembly Hall sermons and activities on Cheung Chau.
