This, the second Wanchai market, was just across Wanchai Road from the first market.
Several groups campaigned for it's preservation, but it was demolished in 2009. The facade has been retained, and will become part of the new building developed on this site.

The developer had kept quite a big part of the original building and had built the tower on top of it after fixing the foundation.
