CO 129/456, p. 71, 14 Oct. 1919, Application for naturalization by Mrs. Ada Charlotte Sachse (sometimes known as Georgina Ada) born Glasgow 29 May 1864, father James McIntosh, who was born and lived in Scotland. Her mother's maiden name was Harriett McIntosh, who was first cousin to said James McIntosh. Petitioner left U.K. in 1894 to come to Hong to be married to Georg Franz Robert Sachse, a German subject, at St. John's Cathedral 5 June 1889; permanently resided in H.K. since that date. Her husband died at Tai Kok Tsui, 29 Dec. 1901. Has two daughters both married to British subjects and are residing in Hong Kong, also one son, aged 23, who fought in France in Canadian Army 1916-1918. She carried on business as Proprietress and Manageress of Kingsclere Hotel, and of Craigieburn Boarding House, the Peak. dated 6 Oct. 1919
