The Che Kung Temple building currently open to the public was rebuilt in 1991 and completed in 1994. It is free for visitors to enter the Che Kung Temple.

The original Che kung Ancient Temple is located behind the new building and was built in the 17th century. However, when it was actually built is unknown. According to the inscriptions in the temple, the ancient temple was rebuilt in the 16th year of Guangxu emperor (1890). It is currently not open to the public for worship.
