Building on Queen's Road Central at the corner with D'Aguilar Street. Built on I.L. 17, today I.L.17 RP. It's predecessor, 36 / 36A / 38 / 40 Queen's Road Central was demolished c. 1957. This building stood on the eastern part of I.L.17, likely having the house number 36. In 1958, it was under construction, likely finished in 1959. A photo from 1958 gives the name as Hing Wai Building.
It was demolished c. 1997, the next building on this place is the second generation Hing Wai Building which was completed in 1998.
