Gabled three-storey building on Queen's Road Central at the corner with D'Aguilar Street. Was built on I.L. 17, the house numbers were taken from the 1937 street index. It has pillars with (probably 8) arches.

I'm not sure when it was constructed, it is probably not this one on a 1850s sketch. First photo is from 1890. In the 1900s or 1910s, the arches were removed and the pillars were cleared from all ornaments. The building was demolished around 1957, in 1958 a new one was constructed.

In this building were the Hongkong Dispensary [????-????] and later the On Lok Yuen Cafeteria - Corner of Queen's Road Central & D'Aguilar Street [????-????]

I think moddey's comment refers to another building further south on Stanley Street. To me, it looks as if the building stood there already in the early 1870s.
