Hong Kong Central Hospital was located in Stanton House on Lower Albert Road. Six-storeys high and completed at the end of 1949. Officially opened on 1 January 1950. The building still stands but has ceased to be a hospital on 1 September 2012.
The opening of the Hospital can be read in the China Mail dated 31 December 1949 and 3 January 1950
