Wanchai

Very so often I read of Wanchai Praya East, but never heard of anything like Wanchai Praya West. I understand Wanchai is nestled between Admiralty and Causeway Bay. Is there a "boarderline" which differentiate  Wanchai East and Wanchai West. What area is called Wanchai East ? The convention centre for instance, must be Wanchai West ?

Thank you so much for helping me on this matter.

Praya East Reclamation Scheme ( 海旁東填海計劃) was a large scale land reclamation project in Colonial Hong Kong lasting from 1921 to 1931 under Sir Catchick Paul Chater. Construction work started at the junction of present-day Hennessy Road and Johnston Road to Percival Street.  It was part of Wanchai. There is no "Wanchai Praya East". Only "Praya East".  There were Praya East, Praya Central and Praya West.
