Apologies for the self-promotional nature of this post, but, as David mentioned last week, I'm now finally back in HK after three long years. And I'm loving it.
I've got three events coming up in the next week, really all on the theme of women in Victoria Gaol. I speak to Annemarie Evans this weekend (7th & 8th Jan) on RTHK Radio 3 Hong Kong Heritage in advance of my talk on 14th Jan at Tai Kwun on Hollywood Road, entitled 'Incarcerated Women: 90 yrs in Victoria Gaol', part of the Gender Salon events, which finish that weekend. (2pm talk - free but registration needed - see website below). Before that, on 12th Jan I'm with others at Bookazine Princes Building for an informal session between 6-7pm. Related websites are: https://www.rthk.hk/radio/radio3/programme/hongkongheritage

(and yes, I know that the Bookazine promo makes me look like I've had major face botox - but I haven't, really!!)
You'll be very welcome at any - thanks - Patricia
