Update 2026-05-08 after moddsey's comment:

House built on the place where the Sincere Department Store was located, the address is 88 Connaught Road Central.

It is an office building with 24 floors that opened 1973. Likely built in stages, first the part at Connaught Road, later the one at Des Voeux Road.

The demolition of the waterfront part of the Sincere Department Store can be seen on the photo below from 1966:

The next step of construction can be seen on the photo from June 1968

The finished building is on this photo (no. 9):

For some time, a Sincere Store existed inside the building, also the name SINCERE appeared on the building front. In these early days, the building was named Sincere Building. It the 1990s, it changed it's name to  Wing Shan Tower.

Google street view from 2009 shows a Sincere store and sign in the building. The store was there in the September 2011 version, and gone in the one from January 2017.

It looks as if the building was acquired by the Nan Fung Group who changed the name of the building to Nan Fung Tower.

Looking at the names and development of the building from https://www.hkmaps.hk/viewer.html

After the full completion of the Sincere Company Building in 1973, the building was called the "Sincere Building". Prior to its current building name, it appears the building was called "Wing Shan Tower" in 1993.
