The first ferry pier was opposite the Hongkong Hotel - and the ferry service was run by the owner of the Hongkong Hotel - Dorabjee Nowrojee.

Compare the design [of the second generation] to the new Star Ferry building - back to the future.

I want to add a flikr photo that has already been added to Gwulo as an external link. How do I do it? Nothing shows on the popup for photos.

Sorry, the software doesn't support that yet, so all we can do right now is to include a link to that photo.

I'm watching for updates to that part of the software. It's a feature I want to see too, so if they add it I'll enable it.

Museum of History photo p72.16 (City of Victoria Book) shows 3 ferries tied up in front of the 6 story Hong Kong Hotel and one ferry arriving.

Anyone know how I would link to the particular photo online ?

You might be able to find a linkable copy in the Museum's online catalogue. (NB only worked in Internet Explorer last time I tried it)
