See https://www-scaa-org-hk.translate.goog/index.php/About/about_history.html?_x_tr_sl=zh-TW&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc Log in or register to post comments Timeline Using moddsey's link I have put together a timeline for the SCAA. 1908 The Association was founded under the name the Chinese Football Team. 1910 It was renamed as The South China Football Club. 1916 Mr Lo was elected as first chairman. 1920 Renamed the South China Athletic Association, with associated primary school. 1927 The Caroline Hill site was allotted to them. 1934 A concrete clubhouse was built together with spectator stands. 1941 The clubhouse was occupied by the Japanese army. 1946 The association was revived after the war. 1953 Caroline Hill Stadium was completed with seating for 12,000 people. 1960 Golden Jubilee Celebration. 1988 Seventeen-storey multi-purpose sports complex completed. 2002 Tennis Centre redevelopment at King’s Park completed. 2012 Grandstand redevelopment and grass pitch enhancement together with the HK Jockey Club. 2021 SCAA-HKJC Stadium opened with artificial turf pitch, with covered tennis court, sand court and rooftop jogging track.
