What: The RAS have invited me to be quiz master for their Quiz Night on Friday, 25th May. Expect questions about old photos and the odd items of Hong Kong's history we find around town!
All are welcome - RAS members & non-members, teams & individuals. (You'll answer questions as teams of 4-6 people, so you can either get a group of friends together and book as a team, or book as a smaller group / individual and be teamed up with other individuals on the night.)
The RAS are offering books as prizes, likely some combination of my book and RAS publications.
Where: Café 8, above the HK Maritime Museum at Pier 8 in Central.
When: The reception opens 6:30 pm, and the quiz starts 7:00 pm. I'm aiming for about 30 minutes of questions, a 30-minute break for you to socialise while I do the marking, then back with the answers.
Admission: RAS Members $150; Non-Members / Guests $200. (Admission includes canapes & 1 drink each - please advise any special diet needs at time of booking)
Booking: Please email membership@royalasiaticsociety.org.hk before 1pm on Wed, 23rd May to reserve your place, then pay at the door on the 25th. Please mention whether you're booking as a team or individually.
