She was considered the best student she had ever taught by the best teacher at the time at the Vienna Conservatory - Marie Pretner. She was classically trained and would have been a concert pianist if she had not married and had my mother, Christine Corra, at the age of 17.
She could play anything by ear and was the delight of any party or gathering with a piano. We were very privileged to hear her playing.
