My great uncle Denis Ewart Donnelly lived in Hong Kong in the early 20s. He was a partner in a firm Donnelly & Whyte which I believe imported and distributed liquor and wine. They officed at 22 Queens Building which I imagine is no longer there but while it still existed we are told the firms name was still visible. I would be interested in anything about them or the office building.

He first appears in the 1911 list, living in Kingsclere on Kennedy Road:
And appears with the same details again in the 1912 list.
In 1913 he's moved from Hong Kong island to live in Kowloon:
He's still living there in 1914, but is now working in his own company, Donnelly & Whyte:
1915 shows him living in Kingsclere again:
But only for a short time as the 1916 list shows him living at 166, The Peak:

He's not mentioned in the 1917 list, but he's back again in 1918, and living at Stewart Terrace on The Peak:
In 1919 he's moved again, to live at 89, The Peak:
He stays there in 1920, but in 1921 he's back to Kingsclere for his third stay there.
The 1922 list shows he's moved further afield to live at "Shebeen" on Cheung Chau:
He's still there in the 1923 list, but that's as far as we've got with putting the lists online. Any help gratefully received to type up a page of the 1924 list.
