Address: Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong. There is a photo showing Tai Yat Theatre and Kwong Ming Theatre operating next to each other. The Gwulo page's discussion on Kwong Ming Theatre helps locate Tai Yat Theatre, and is repeated here:
"An internet search thus far has not been able to identify the seating capcity of Kwong Ming Theatre. Discussions among the source sites give its address as Public Square Street, and after demolition the site is "currently" occupied by Yau Ma Tei Jockey Club Specialist Clinic (油麻地賽馬會診所). This places the former theatre at 3 Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong."

Tai Yat Theatre started operating sometime before April 1, 1926. In 1931, the theatre was renamed New Tai Yat Theatre after a structural extension. Operation was suspended in late 1941 and resumed some time in 1942 and again suspended in late 1943 or early 1944. After WWII (1945), the theatre resumed operation until its closure in May 1964.
