According to Raymond's notes, the key dates are:

  • 1952. Princess Theatre opens for business on 8th December.
  • 1964. The Beatles appear here for two performances.
  • 1970. The theatre is sold to a hotel group.
  • 1973.  The theatre closes.

Later the building was demolished, and the present-day Hotel Mira was built on the site. Today's building is also the site of the 'Princess Shopping Plaza', named after the old theatre.
