Married Hong Kong 1939 to Margaret nee Murray. She was returning to HK in November 1941 but was diverted to Australia where she stayed until late 1944 before returning to UK.

Briefly back in HK post war before moving to Australia late 1940s.

Born 28.03.1905    enlisted as PC 15.11.1928  as A 159        arrived HK  27.12.1928          Lance Sergeant 1.7.1929    On 30.12.1933 seconded for duty with Fire Brigade as Assistant Station Officer.Interned aged 36  Awarded Kings Police Medal (Gallantry) as Station Officer,Fire Brigade,see London Gazette 5.8.1947 Page 3679.KPM(G) for rescue of drowning persons in mv Sai On incident in harbour.
