If you're heading up the road to the top of Mount Davis, at one point there's a fork in the road. The road to the right is blocked to vehicles, but you can walk along it. If you take the road to the right, and walk along it til you come to the first bend in the road. this building is right on the corner. Not much to see, just a concrete square missing its roof. But the outer walls still have the coloured patches from the wartime camouflage.

Ruin of Military Building on Mount Davis

If the building you mention above is the one I'm thinking of (despite looking at it twice I'd not noticed the camoflage) it sits just above the dead end road you were on, and just below the road that goes to the top of Mt Davis. Almost opposite on the other side, and above, the latter road is the Mount Davis Battery Position Finding Cell South, Gwulo node 11833. The close proximity of the PF Cell and the building you mention suggests they were part of the same facility.

Good point, and it certainly sounds likely. I'd walked up the higher road to have a look at the PF cell, but didn't make the connection.
Rob notes the PF cell was made up of four inter-connected buildings. I didn't have a scramble around to count them, but I'll go back for a closer look when the weather is cooler.
