HP Lim was my father. Full name Hugh Peter Lim, born Melbourne, Australia 1906; died Hong Kong 1968. He is survived by 6 children: Pat (from his first wife Lily) and Maureen, Muriel, Eileen, Kathleen and Francis (from his second wife Amy).
He was a quantity surveyor and as pointed out elsewhere on this site, was a surveyor with the Royal Engineers during WW2, was captured (in the then Malaya, I believe) and imprisoned in Japan (Nagoya?) until 1945.
