This seems to have been January 29. Two Chinese missionaries, Alice Lan and Betty Hu, went over to the HKSBC Building from Kowloon and queued up all day but the crowds were so great they got nothing. They finally got to the counter on their third trip on February 3, but found that the 50 dollars was only a little more than the three journies had cost them.
