Jap Navy Day.

New Kitchen Sub.Comm. took office & had to deal with the problem of accusations made by members of the public against the Kitchen staff. Cohen & Franks had a little trouble over it.

Good news came in today. American convoy arrived at Bombay. Jap A/C carrier sunk off Port Moresby. Saar area bombed heavily. Russians have advanced into Rumania & to Poland after a 3 day bombardment from Germans. We lost 1 Cruiser & 4 Transport off Cape Finisterre? We have landed a force at Brest at the cost of 5,000 men?

Hot.

Dance & Cabaret at St Stephens.
