Henley Hembdon Rose was employed in the Waterworks, PWD.  He was BSM of 2nd Battery, HKVDC and a POW in Sham Shui Po.

From Barbara Anslow’s diary entry for 2nd May, 1944 notes that Mrs R.G.Rose (Chinese) died in Stanley Camp, leaving two very young children.  I believe Mrs Rose was the wife of Henley Hembdon Rose.

Gerald H S Rose married Elizabeth J Pretty in Lothingland Suffolk Quarter 3 1956 so presumably he was reunited with bis Rose family post-war. He and his wife were living in Church Road Willesden in 1956.

Dawn Mary Rose was registered as a Nurse 10 August 1953 Kingston Hospital Surrey. She died in 1975 in Surrey aged 43. Her date of birth was 28 January 1932.
