Timeline:

  • 1927: Possibly constructed by this date.  (Museum of Coastal Defence).
  • 1936: 2 x 3" AA guns.  (ADM 116/3490).
  • 1941: 2 x 3" AA guns.  (WO 106/2379).
  • 1941: In action in December. Site bombed and shelled, with casualties, one 3" gun being destroyed. Remaining gun destroyed by own crew at surrender 25th December.  (WO 172/1687).
  • 1945: No guns remained.  (WO 196/10).
  • 2015: Area cleared, nothing remains.
