Hi there,
Bumped into this last Saturday night. Still occupied and business as usual. Seemed to be what we have missed during the hunt a few years ago.
Best Regards,

Demolished already
It is demolished in 2013, and will be re-developed into a hotel of 18 stories
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the update. Several of the shophouses we recorded just a few years ago have already disappeared.

Fuk Tsun St
Looking at the most recent google Streetview (2022), although the building has been demolished the contractors have left the pavement pillars and party walls intact, so either they haven't got around to removing them yet, or they are being preserved as some sort of adornment to the new building.
Re: Fuk Tsun Street
Hi Phil,
I guess that is likely for the protection of the two adjacent buildings. Even if the old walls are to be removed like those on Des Voeux Road West site, before the new building could pour concrete, they would have to reinforce the existing walls with steel sheets or the mass of the concrete may go through the walls, severely damage the adjacent buildings.
Seems a good excuse to go that way to have a look.
