Does anyone one have images to view of the September 1988 visit to Hong Kong by the Orient Express, other than several by R. Zimmermann which can be seen by internet searches. It must have been a big event for the KCR, but no mention of it seems to appear in KCR history books. Images appear to be rare considering the publicity this train usually carries with it around the world.
The train's carriages were subsequently shipped to Japan.
I believe a second journey was advertised for the following year, but starting from Shenzen rather than Hong Kong back to Europe. Whether this actually ran or not I'm not sure.
